# Frequently Asked Questions (FAQs) About Vultr Firewall

These are the frequently asked questions for Vultr Firewall.

    If the Vultr Firewall allows HTTPS traffic but the instance’s internal firewall blocks HTTPS, the traffic will still be blocked, because the instance-level firewall does not permit it.
    Conversely, if the Vultr Firewall blocks HTTPS traffic but the instance’s internal firewall allows HTTPS, the traffic will still be blocked, because the Vultr Firewall prevents it from ever reaching the instance.

    Yes, you can created Vultr Firewall Rules using specific service profiles. Click the **Protocol** drop-down in your firewall group to select a specific service.
