Reserved IP

Manage dedicated IP addresses that can be assigned to different Vultr instances, providing static addressing for your infrastructure.

The vultr-cli reserved-ip command manages reserved IP addresses on Vultr's platform, allowing users to create, list, delete, and attach IPs to instances.

Usage

Attach
Attaches a reserved IP address to a specific Vultr instance, enabling the instance to use that IP address.
Convert
Transforms an existing instance IP address into a reserved IP while maintaining its configuration
Create
Creates a new reserved IP address that can be assigned to Vultr instances as needed
Delete
Permanently removes a specified reserved IP address from your Vultr account, freeing the resource and stopping associated billing.
Detach
Removes the association between a reserved IP address and a Vultr instance, making the IP available for reassignment.
Get
Retrieves detailed information about a specific reserved IP address in your Vultr account using its ID.
List
Lists all reserved IP addresses in your Vultr account with their IDs, regions, IP addresses, and attachment status.
Update
Modify properties of an existing reserved IP address, such as its label or attached instance.
