Updating a build changes its version label, installation script, or operating system without creating a new build.
This guide explains how to update a build using the Vultr Console or the Vultr API.
Click Marketplace in the Vultr Console's left-hand menu.
Click the application name to open the Edit App screen.
Click the Builds tab.
Select the actions menu on the build you want to change and choose Edit.
Update the Vendor Data script and save your change.
Verify that the build's updated details appear in the Builds list.
