Connect a Vultr Cloud Compute instance to an isolated private VPC network shared with other instances.
A Virtual Private Cloud (VPC) network creates a secure and isolated private networking interface to enable connections to other instances attached to the same network. You can attach multiple VPC networks to a Vultr Cloud Compute instance. Vultr recommends a maximum transmission unit (MTU) of 1450 on VPC network interfaces, because a larger MTU results in poor network performance.
Follow this guide to attach a VPC network to a Vultr Cloud Compute instance using the Vultr Console, API, CLI, or Terraform.
Attaching an instance to multiple VPC networks with overlapping IP blocks breaks network connectivity on the instance.
