If you suspect that your Vultr API key has been exposed or misused, regenerate the key immediately from the API page in the Vultr Customer Portal. Regenerating the key invalidates the old one and prevents unauthorized access to your account.
After regenerating the key, update any systems or scripts that depend on the previous API key to restore normal functionality.
