Learn how to retrieve the current SCIM settings for a Vultr organization using the Vultr API, including SCIM status, auth method, and token details shown.
Retrieving your organization's SCIM settings allows you to check the SCIM configuration status, view authentication methods, and review configuration timestamps. This is useful for auditing your SCIM setup or troubleshooting user or group management issues.
The scim_token is visible only to a root user. A non-root user can retrieve the SCIM settings but does not see the token value in the response.
Follow the steps below to retrieve SCIM settings for your organization using the Vultr Console or the Vultr API.
Log in to the Vultr Console.
Click the organization name in the top navigation bar.
Click Manage Organization.
Click Federated Identity under Identity and Access Management in the left sidebar.
Under System for Cross-domain Identity Management (SCIM), review the SCIM Status, SCIM Base URL, and SCIM Token fields.
Click the eye icon next to the SCIM Token to reveal it.
