Edit the Cloud-Init user data script on a Vultr Cloud GPU instance; Terraform can only set it at creation.

Cloud-Init automatically initializes and configures instances during the initial boot phase. Cloud-Init user data runs a script that automates instance customization, software installation, and package or service configuration.

Follow this guide to update Cloud-Init user data on a Vultr Cloud GPU instance using the Vultr Console, API, CLI, or Terraform.

Navigate to Compute and click Instances.
Click your target Cloud GPU instance to open its management page.
Navigate to the User-Data tab.
Enter your script or cloud config in the Cloud-Init User-Data field.
Click Update to apply the changes.
