How to Restart a Vultr Cloud GPU Instance

Apply updates or configuration changes with a hard reboot of a Vultr Cloud GPU instance; its data stays intact.

Restarting an instance performs a hard reboot and stops all running processes on your server before starting them again. Restarting does not alter the instance data or file system and applies updates or configuration changes that require a reboot.

Follow this guide to restart a Vultr Cloud GPU instance using the Vultr Console, API, or CLI.

Navigate to Compute and click Instances.
Click your target Cloud GPU instance to open its management page.
Click the Server Restart icon in the top-right corner of the management page.
Click Restart Server in the confirmation prompt to restart the instance.
