Can I Use a Custom Domain with a Vultr CDN Pull Zone?

Updated on 20 November, 2025

CDN Pull Zones support custom domains, allowing content delivery through your branded URL instead of the default CDN endpoint via CNAME DNS configuration.

Yes. Vultr CDN Pull Zones support the use of custom domains, letting you serve content under your own branded URL instead of the default Vultr CDN endpoint. To configure a custom domain, you need to create a CNAME DNS record that points your domain or subdomain to the Vultr CDN Pull Zone URL.

After configuring the DNS, you can enable SSL/TLS for your custom domain by uploading your certificates through the Custom Domain tab in the Vultr CDN management interface. This ensures that traffic between end users and the CDN is encrypted, maintaining security and integrity.

Using a custom domain not only enhances branding but also allows you to leverage all the CDN features, such as caching, edge delivery, and security protections, under your own domain name.
