Can I Use a Custom Domain with a Vultr CDN Push Zone?

Updated on 20 November, 2025

Explains how to configure custom domains for Vultr CDN Push Zones by creating CNAME DNS records to serve cached content under branded URLs

Yes. Vultr CDN Push Zones support the use of custom domains, allowing you to serve cached files under your own branded URL instead of the default Vultr CDN endpoint. To configure a custom domain, create a CNAME DNS record that points your domain or subdomain to the Vultr CDN Push Zone URL.

Once the DNS configuration is in place, you can manage SSL/TLS for your custom domain through the Custom Domain tab in the Vultr CDN management interface. Using a custom domain provides a consistent branded experience while ensuring secure file delivery. It also allows you to leverage the performance and distribution benefits of Vultr CDN while maintaining flexibility over your domain and SSL configuration.
