Vultr Managed Databases use node plans to define the size, resources, and features available for your cluster. Plans include Hobbyist, Startup, Business, and Premium, each with different storage, memory, and backup capabilities.

To find your cluster's node plan:

  1. Go to your database cluster's Overview page in the Vultr Customer Portal.
  2. Locate the General Information section.
  3. The Node Plan is displayed below the Monthly Price, usually in the format vultr-dbaas-[plan type]-[internal ID].

Understanding your node plan helps determine which features, such as point-in-time backups, replication, and failover, are available for your database cluster.
