Explains whether users can manually configure static routing information for directing network traffic within Vultr VPC environments
Static routing provides a method to manually define how traffic flows within a network, ensuring that specific routes are used instead of relying solely on dynamic routing protocols.
In Vultr, static routes for a VPC network are configured through the Vultr Customer Portal. Open the VPC’s Management page and click Add Routes to define new routing information. Each static route requires a Destination Address, Network Prefix, and Target Address within the VPC. After configuration, instances in the VPC use these routes for traffic forwarding, ensuring predictable and controlled network behavior without needing changes on individual instances.
