How to Retrieve Linked Resources for a Vultr Kubernetes Engine Cluster

See which load balancers and block storage volumes a Vultr Kubernetes Engine cluster depends on, via Console or API.

Linked resources are the Vultr Block Storage volumes and Load Balancers that a Vultr Kubernetes Engine (VKE) cluster creates for its workloads. VKE creates a Block Storage volume for each PersistentVolumeClaim that uses a Vultr storage class and a Load Balancer for each Kubernetes Service of type LoadBalancer. Reviewing linked resources helps you track storage and networking costs and identify resources that remain after you delete the related workloads.

Follow this guide to retrieve the linked resources of a Vultr Kubernetes Engine cluster using the Vultr Console or API.

Navigate to Compute and click Kubernetes.
Click the target cluster to open its management page.
Click the Linked Resources tab.
Click Block Storage to view the Linked Block Storage Volumes table. The table lists each volume's Label, such as pvc-53d2c445a2424e50, Created date, and Status.
Click Load Balancers to view the Linked Load Balancers table, which lists each Load Balancer's Label, Created date, and Status.

The Block Storage and Load Balancers subtabs display the number of linked resources of each type.
