How to Change Vultr Account Password

1 min readUpdated 23 October 2026

Replace your Vultr account password after a security breach or lost device, or to cut off access by former employees.

Changing your account password helps you protect your Vultr account and reduce the risks of cyber attacks when responding to a security breach due to a lost device. Changing passwords also mitigates account misuse by former employees and discourages password reuse.

Follow this guide to change account password using the Vultr Console.

Navigate to Account and select Authentication under General.
Enter your old password and the new password under Change Password. Then, click Change Password.
Use your new password to log in to your Vultr account next time.
