Changing your account password helps you protect your Vultr account and reduce the risks of cyber attacks when responding to a security breach due to a lost device. Changing passwords also mitigates account misuse by former employees and discourages password reuse.
Follow this guide to change account password using the Vultr Customer Portal.
Navigate to Account and select Authentication under General.
Enter your old password and the new password under Change Password. Then, click Change Password.
Use the new password next time to log in to your Vultr account.
