Guide to configuring Vultr Load Balancers to route traffic through VPC networks for improved security and reduced bandwidth costs
Vultr Load Balancers can be configured to route traffic through a Virtual Private Cloud (VPC) network instead of the public internet when your backend instances are attached to a VPC. Routing traffic over a private network improves security and reduces exposure to external traffic.
When switching the Load Balancer to a VPC network, connections may experience a brief disruption while the network interface is updated. After the change, all traffic between the Load Balancer and VPC-attached instances is routed privately, without traversing the public network.
For detailed instructions, see the How to Configure Network Settings for Vultr Load Balancer guide.
