What Are the Password Requirements for a Vultr Account?

To meet Vultr’s security standards, all account passwords must follow these requirements:

• Minimum length: 10 characters
• Must include at least one uppercase letter (A–Z)
• Must include at least one lowercase letter (a–z)
• Must include at least one number (0–9)

These rules apply when creating a new account or changing your existing password. For best security practices, we also recommend:

• Using a unique password not shared with other services.
• Including additional special characters for added complexity.
• Storing credentials securely in a password manager.
