CDN Pull Zone refreshes cached content upon expiration or every 24 hours for inactive resources, ensuring content stays current
The Vultr CDN Pull Zone automatically updates cached content based on access patterns and cache expiration. By default, cached content is refreshed when it expires, or every 24 hours if no requests are made to that resource. This ensures that content remains reasonably up-to-date even for less frequently accessed assets.
In addition to automatic updates, you can manually purge the cache at any time through the Vultr Customer Portal, API, or CLI. Purging forces the CDN to fetch the latest version of content from your origin server and update the edge caches immediately.
This combination of automatic cache refresh and manual purging allows you to balance efficient caching, fast content delivery, and timely updates from your origin server.
