What Is the Validity Period of an Organization Invitation?

Learn how long an organization invitation remains valid in Vultr IAM. Understand the expiry timeframe and what happens when an invitation link expires.

Organization invitations in Vultr IAM are valid for 3 days from the time they are sent.

This limited validity period helps ensure that access is granted only through timely and intentional actions, reducing the risk of outdated or unintended invitations being used. If an invitation expires:

  • The invited user cannot use the expired invitation to join the organization
  • No access is granted to the user
  • An administrator must send a new invitation if access is still required
